... or alternatively, go to our contact page and enquire there about Certificate IV in Security and Risk Management and other courses.Last year I commenced this course via remote learning with another RTO and have completed the 7 business units, leaving 8 security units to finish.
Unfortunately they have "moved the goal posts" and now advise that instead of providing me with workbooks ( either in hard copy or electronic format ) for the security units, consisting of study content - they wish me to provide them with details of previous work experience, scenarios I have been involved in, and to have my current employer vouch for my competencies as they may relate to each unit. I have already purchased SRMBOK ( Security Risk Management Body of Knowledge ) as a supplementary resource, but now it seems that it won't be supplementing anything at all - the RTO has no content to provide!
Can you advise if it is possible to complete the 8 business units with you ( I can provide a Statement of Academic Record for the 7 business units completed ) to help me finish the Cert IV? I am not seeking RPL, and neither do I wish to involve 3rd parties such as my employer in what is a private endeavour - I actually want to study and learn something ( isn't that what the "T" in RTO stands for? ).
